Bookmate by activ — a convenient way to listen to audiobooks or read e-books on your phone, tablet or PC. The Bookmate library has a collection of almost 1 million electronic and over 45,000 audio books.
Getting access to the Bookmate by activ library is easy — download the app for iOS/Android or go to bookmate.com and activate the Universal subscription.
Save books to your mobile device to read and listen to in a mobile application without an Internet connection anytime where — in the subway, on a plane or on the beach.
When you first subscribe to Bookmate by activ, you get a one-time 7-day’ free trial period. The trial period (including any unused portion of it) is not provided when you renew your subscription.
After the expiration of the trial period, the standard daily fee will start to apply, which varies by the type of subscription:
- Universal — 59 tenge/day
- E-books — 35 tenge/day
- Audiobooks — 50 tenge/day

You can activate a Bookmate by activ subscription using any of the methods provided below:

Dial *909# and select appropriate number from the pop-up menu:
- 1 — Universal for 59 tg/day and confirm activation.
- 2 — E-books for 35 tg/day and confirm activation.
- 3 — Audiobooks for 50 tg/day and confirm activation.

Enter your activ / Kcell number in the box and tap Login. You will receive a SMS containing a one-time 4-digit confirmation code from Bookmate. Enter the code in the special box.

Other activation methods
Online:
- Enter your activ / Kcell number in the box and tap Login. You will receive a SMS containing a 4-digit confirmation code from Bookmate.
- Enter the code in the special box on the page. You will be prompted to either start using the service from the webpage or download the Bookmate application.
Additional conditions:
If you already have the E-books or Audiobooks subscription active on your account and wish to subscribe to Universal, your previous subscription will be canceled automatically. Likewise, if you have Universal active on your account, it will be automatically canceled as soon as your activate any of the above two subscriptions.
If you are subscribed to Bookmate and wish to switch to Bookmate by activ to enjoy our favorable offer:
- Link your Kcell/activ number to your Bookmate account.
- Logout from of your Bookmate account.
- Activate your preferred Bookmate by activ subscription using any of the methods described above.
- Sign up with your activ / Kcell number.
To cancel your Bookmate by activ subscription, dial
- *909*1*2# - Universal;
- *909*2*2# - E-books;
- *909*3*2# - Audiobooks.
To unsubscribe from the entire service, text СТОП, стоп, Стоп, STOP, stop or Stop to 909.
If you cancel your Bookmate subscription, all books downloaded on to your device will be become unavailable. When you renew your subscription, you will need to download those books again.
The first time subscribers to Bookmate by activ you get 7 days of free trial period, then the standard fee applies:
- Universal — 59 tenge/day;
- E-books — 35 tenge/day;
- Audiobooks — 50 tenge/day.
You will incur no data charges while using Bookmate by activ. However, standard data roaming rates will apply when you use the service while roaming.
This service is provided by Tsentr LLP - an independent provider of various entertainment and inquiry services to Kcell and activ subscribers. Provider is liable for the content of service as well as quality and timely delivery thereof. Provider is fully liable to Operator, third parties and subscribers for a failure to comply with the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan, including law on communication, licensing and license agreements, patent law, intellectual property rights, copyright and related rights.
