1. The "Make Stereo Spatial" function supports stereo content in iOS 15 and later, content from Apple Music in Dolby Atmos or 5.1 format, as well as video content from supported applications recorded with sound in 5.1, 7.1 or Dolby Atmos format.

Testing was conducted by Apple in September 2021 on control samples of AirPods headphones (3rd generation) and a MagSafe charging case (a preliminary software version was used for the tested devices). The headphones were paired with the iPhone 13 Pro Max with a pre-release version of the software. The playlist contained 358 different audio tracks (in 256 kbit/s AAC format) purchased from the iTunes Store. The volume level was set to 50%. When using spatial audio technology with the function of dynamic tracking of head movements, the working time of the headphones in listening mode was up to 5 hours. Testing the AirPods involved playing audio until one of the headphones was completely discharged. Battery life depends on the settings and the nature of use of the device, environmental conditions and many other factors.

3. AirPods (3rd generation) are resistant to sweat and water (does not apply to water sports) and tested in specially maintained laboratory conditions. The headphones have an IPX4 rating according to the IEC 60529 standard. Resistance to sweat and water may decrease with natural wear.
